Privacy policy

What we collect, why, and who helps us run the store. Short version: no ad trackers, and the Unshy Report keeps nothing about you.

This policy covers unshy.ai, run by Brand Rebel Media, Inc, 2436 N Federal Hwy, Suite 444, Lighthouse Point, FL 33064. If anything here is unclear, email hello@unshy.ai.

The short version

  • We collect what we need to run the store and ship your order.
  • We count how the site is used with Vercel Analytics, with no ad trackers and no ad cookies.
  • The Unshy Report stores nothing about you. Your result lives in the share link.
  • We email you about drops only if you ask us to.
  • We don’t sell your personal information.

When you buy something

Checkout and payments run on Shopify. When you order, Shopify collects your name, email, shipping address, phone number if you give one, what you bought and your payment details. We never see your full card number.

We share your name, shipping address and order details with our print partner, Printful, so they can make and ship your order, and the carrier gets what it needs to deliver it. We keep order records as long as we need them for customer service, tax and accounting.

When you browse

Like any website, our host, Vercel, processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and keep the site secure.

We use Vercel Analytics to count page views and a few store actions, like viewing a product, adding to cart, sharing a Report card or finishing the Report. It records things like the page, the site that sent you, your approximate location (country, region and city), and your browser and device type. It doesn’t use third-party cookies, and it tells visits apart with a scrambled code (a hash) made from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours.

We never send analytics your name, email or quiz answers. We don’t use ad pixels or ad trackers. If that ever changes, this page changes first.

The Unshy Report

Your answers are turned into a result on the spot and aren’t saved to any profile or database. Nothing about the Report is linked to your name, email or account.

Your result (level, Ai vice, politeness score and app count) is packed into the share link itself. Anyone with the link can see that result and nothing else, and share cards are drawn from the same link.

To see how the quiz is doing, we count anonymous events: a quiz started, a question answered (which question, never which answer), a quiz finished and which level came up.

The drop waitlist

If you join a waitlist, we store your email address, your consent and the date, privately with our host, Vercel. We use them only to email you about that drop. We may move the list into Shopify’s customer tools later, and the same rules apply there.

Every email has an unsubscribe link. To have your address deleted, email hello@unshy.ai.

The chat assistant

When you type in the chat, your messages pass through Vercel to an Ai model provider, which writes the reply. We don’t keep chat transcripts. Please don’t share personal details like your address or card number in the chat; for help with an order, email hello@unshy.ai.

To limit abuse, the chat counts messages per visitor with a cookie that expires after 24 hours and a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address. Those counts stay in memory and reset within a day.

Cookies and browser storage

  • A cart cookie (unshy_cart) keeps your cart for up to 30 days.
  • A chat cookie (unshy_chat) lets us count chat messages per visit and expires after 24 hours.
  • Your browser remembers whether you turned motion off.
  • When you finish the Report, your browser marks the result as yours for that tab, so the story talks to you. It clears when you close the tab.
  • Shopify sets its own cookies at checkout to process your payment and order.

Who helps us run the store

  • Shopify: checkout, payments and order records
  • Printful: printing and shipping
  • Vercel: hosting, analytics, waitlist storage and the chat connection
  • An Ai model provider: writing chat replies

Your choices

Wherever you live, you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email hello@unshy.ai. We may need to keep some order records for tax and accounting, and we’ll tell you if that applies.

Kids

unshy.ai isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has shared personal information with us, email us and we’ll delete it.

Changes

When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
